It’s a great success story for this native of Namur.  Backed by more than 20 years of experience with key players in Belgium’s real estate market, Luc Parmentier has become the new CEO of Equilis Belgium.

Carl Mestdagh, Executive Chairman Equilis EuropeEquilis’ story is exciting for me in many ways. Above all, what really fascinates me is this ‘adventure’ of first-class men and women, who want to create stories that bring more purpose to our daily lives.  Luc ’s arrival simply confirms this path.  During our meetings, it was clear to us that he is an ideal choice – because of his values, his expertise in the field and a broad experience of 20 years in real estate.’’

“This new step in my career will enable me to develop fresh projects with a talented team.  It’s quite a challenge though, as we must develop, and sustain growth through ambitious and high-quality achievements that address tomorrow’s challenges.  We will also need to redefine our strategy in an evolving macro-economic context, where agility and vision will be increasingly important.  I’m impressed by the corporate culture at Equilis and the collaborative approach is a lever that I intend to harness to strengthen the position of Equilis on Belgium’s market,” said Luc Parmentier, CEO Equilis Belgium.

Olivier Beguin, CEO Equilis Europe “Our goal is to develop living spaces that create value and make a positive impact on society.  Equilis Europe has built an ecosystem that allows the company to define each project’s sustainable ambitions, to encourage emulation within the teams, and to stimulate the development of innovative solutions.  Each project is unique and conceived accordingly.  Each time, we create an A to Z story, by anchoring it in its own context, and by inspiring and reflecting the local community. Luc  has the perfect profile to follow this approach and to achieve the ambitions that we have in Belgium.  Equilis Belgium is now marketing more than one hundred residential units.  The team is working on the development of over 1,500 to 2,000 homes, to be built in the next few years, and specifically 500 homes over the next two to three years.  We are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
