Last Friday a festive milestone was reached at the construction site of Missiehuis Park Alderman Sander Smeets (municipality of Velsen), Jan Wim Franken (Brederode Wonen) and Dimitry Melchiors (CEO Equilis Netherlands) brought a toast to the 18 new inhabitants of Driehuis. With the official start of construction of this unique project in a park-like setting, the path is set for the development of beautiful mansions, luxury apartments, unique chapel houses, and a detached pavilion house. The event attracted approximately 125 enthusiastic people.
The stones recovered from the demolition will be used in the restoration of the monuments. Units will be gas-free and connected to a collective heat and cold generation (TES/WKO) for heating and cooling. The new townhouses are almost energy-neutral (NZEB/BENG).
