Acteeum and Equilis will jointly develop next project – Galeria Andrychów

Excellent market adoption of the Galeria Chełm shopping center currently under construction, perfect cooperation of the partners and the extraordinary interest of this project among tenants led Acteeum and Equilis to joining forces again. The location of the next joint project will be Andrychów, where a new regional retail park with an area of 26,000 sqm will be developed. Galeria Andrychów is already attracting well-known tenants while its opening is planned for the Q4, 2020.

The cooperation undertaken by Acteeum and Equilis on the currently developed Galeria Chełm has become a success in all respects. The Chełm project has an extremely positive market response, from the investment, tenants’ and the local community’s perspectives. The partners involved in the project – investors, contractors, financial institutions and others – emphasize the effectiveness and good energy of cooperation, which translate into efficient construction process and almost completed commercialization of Galeria Chełm.
Such a good atmosphere around the Chełm project and still existing development potential, particularly in medium-sized cities, resulted in another joint undertaking of Acteeum and Equilis. Both companies are joining forces again in a new venture, this time located in the south of Poland – in Andrychów.

We are excited to join forces with Acteeum again on another project. After such experiences, it does not surprise that we have an appetite for more. Our domains in the development of commercial facilities complement each other perfectly creating the essence of international experience, knowledge of Polish realities, competence and creative enthusiasm, guaranteeing the success of undertaken ventures. We are convinced that our Andrychów project will be another ‘happy story’ creating a new quality on the retail market in Poland” – says Monika Woźniak-Zawioła, general director of Equilis in Poland.

Galeria Andrychów is planned in the so-called “Power center” format. It will be a modern and functional commercial facility with an area of 26,000 sqm It will offer not only approx. 40 stores of various brands, but also a large DIY store and 650 parking spaces, ensuring smooth communication with the city and the region. It will also be enriched with a drive-through facility and a gas station. The unique potential of the Andrychów retail park is also due to its location on the only plot of this size in the city and region designated for large-scale shopping facilities.

“Cooperation with Equilis at Galeria Chełm is a clear pleasure. Therefore, it is natural that together we take on another ambitious challenge – a regional retail park in Andrychów. In addition to all the typical features of a successful shopping center, our new Andrychów project ensures – from the earliest stages of implementation – playing a broad social role on the local market. We want Galeria Andrychów not only to be a place of convenient and attractive shopping, but also to comprehensively meet the lifestyle expectations and aspirations of the inhabitants. We want it – in just over a year – to become a place providing various forms of spending free time and with which residents will identify.” – explains Tomasz Szewczyk, Managing Partner Acteeum Central Europe.

The shopping offer of Galeria Andrychów will include a variety of fashion, interior design, sports, consumer electronics, media and drugstore brands. A varied dining, entertainment and service offer will also be available ensuring a comprehensive response to the needs of customers. Galeria Andrychów will enrich the neighborhood not only with its offer, but also with modern, functional architecture, communication openness and improvement of the infrastructure of the surrounding area.

Galeria Andrychów, which opening is planned for the Q4, 2020, is already attracting many well-known tenants, including Leroy Merlin, LPP brands, Martes Sport, Media Expert and Rossmann.

We are very happy to cooperate with our new partners, which are Acteeum and Equilis, in the development of a retail project in Andrychów. It will be a unique project with great potential, of which Leroy Merlin will be a part. Our store will be a space where customers will be able to meet their needs related to home and garden. The best product offer prepared together with a wide range of services will respond to the local needs of residents. The emerging store will expand the Leroy Merlin network, which today consists of 64 commercial facilities” – said Rafał Krzepkowski, Development Director at Leroy Merlin Polska.
